Jeremy O`Brien

Jeremy O'Brien has a strong background in drilling and operations in the offshore industry. Jeremy started their career in 2009 with Stena Drilling Ltd, where they worked as a Main Well Driller on the Stena Forth rig, gaining extensive deepwater drilling experience in the Gulf of Mexico. Jeremy also utilized MMC tripping technology during their time there. In 2014, they joined Maersk Drilling as a Main Well Driller, operating on the Maersk Venturer rig and utilizing advanced drill assist and tripping technology. In 2017, they transitioned to BlueWhale Offshore as a Main Well Driller for a short period of time. Since 2017, they have been working at Geoquip Marine, initially as a Drilling Manager, then as the Head of Drilling, and currently as the Head of Operations.

Jeremy O'Brien attended St Pauls in Brisbane, Australia from 1988 to 1993. There is no information provided about any degrees or fields of study pursued during this time. In addition to their education, Jeremy obtained the IWCF Subsea Supervisor certification from IWCF in June 2017.
