Melanie Sheehan

Melanie Sheehan has extensive experience in the field of Human Resources, starting with their role as a PA to the Managing Director at Pearpoint Ltd from 2000 to 2002. Melanie then worked as a PA to the Regional Director at Persimmon Homes for a brief period in 2002. Melanie later joined Robert Bosch Ltd as a PA to the Divisional Director from 2002 to 2005. In 2005, they joined BG Group and held various positions, including Lead HR Assistant, HR Advisor, Global Mobility Case Manager, and Lead HR Advisor, until 2010. Melanie then worked as an HR Business Partner at International Power plc from 2010 to 2012. Melanie further expanded their HR expertise as an HR Director at BURIED HILL SERVICES (UK) LIMITED from 2012 to 2018. Following that, they worked as Maternity Cover for HR Director at Freemans Event Partners from 2018 to 2019. Most recently, they served as a Group HR Manager at MARKEY GROUP LIMITED from 2019 to 2022. Melanie is currently the Head of Human Resources at Geoquip Marine, starting from April 2022.

Melanie Sheehan pursued their education with a focus on Human Resource Management & Development, earning a Masters degree from Nottingham Trent University between 2006 and 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Certificate in Personnel Practice from the University of West London, which they completed in 2006. In addition to their formal education, Melanie also obtained a certification in Learning Excel Online (Office 365) from LinkedIn in August 2020.
