Piedad Mejías is the Sales Manager at Georganics. Piedad has extensive experience in sales, having previously worked as the International Sales Manager at Grupo Aceitunas Cazorla.

At Grupo Aceitunas Cazorla, Piedad managed key accounts in European and Asian markets, including Edeka (DE), Rewe Zentral (DE), Aldi (UK, BE) and Jumbo (NL). Piedad was skilled at negotiation, handling objections and closing sales. Piedad also developed extensive new business in new and existing markets, securing customers such as Aldi (CH, AU), Jumbo (NL), Superunie (NL), Spar (AT) and Homeplus (KR).

Piedad led the company´s UK market entry, establishing a physical presence in the country for the first time. Piedad performed hands-on research into an idiosyncratic market and converted into new customers and sales. Piedad also managed the logistical distribution for key retail customers. Piedad negotiated with freights forwarders and logistics operators; created and implemented a system to monitor and track 100 containers worth of product across the supply chain for Germany’s largest retailer.

As a experienced team leader, Piedad coordinated 2 mid-level sales managers and 5 sales administrators. Piedad was responsible for hiring, training and supervision. Piedad also performed periodic sales analysis and refined procedures. In addition to leading a breadth of activities, they also managed internal and external communications at a deep level, including logistics, quality production, etc.

Piedad is an avowed team player, having supported marketing, quality control, and factory certification audits amongst other activities. Piedad prides herself in having an ever growing knowledge of every aspect of the business.

Piedad Mejías completed a degree in International Business Management at ICEX-CECO. Piedad also holds a degree in Ingeniería de Caminos, Canales y Puertos from Universidad de Granada. Piedad is proficient in English and has completed a course in Strategic Sales Management from The Institute of Sales Management (ISM).
