Shawna McNamee is an accomplished human resources professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple industries. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at George Brown College since January 2024, Shawna teaches courses to HRPA-approved CHRP diploma students. Previously, Shawna was Head of People & Culture at Book4Time Inc., where responsibilities included supporting a diverse workforce across several countries. Prior to that, Shawna held the position of Director of Human Resources Americas at Mercedes-Benz Mobility AG, overseeing HR strategies for the Americas region, and held various roles at Capital One, including Head Organization Development Client Consultant and Director Human Resources Business Partner, focusing on talent management and organizational effectiveness. Shawna's HR career began at ING, where significant contributions were made in organizational development and talent management on a global scale. Shawna holds a Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Delaware.
