Amy Schelemanow

Amy Schelemanow is an experienced professional in museum exhibitions and publishing, currently serving as the Director of Exhibitions, Publishing, and Design at the George Eastman Museum since 1995. In this role, Amy directs exhibition development and oversees the museum's book publishing program, managing all aspects of production. Previous positions include Art Director at George Eastman Museum and Designer/Art Director for the Society for Photographic Education, where Amy redesigned the society's scholarly journal. Amy has also contributed as adjunct faculty at the Rochester Institute of Technology, teaching courses related to Visual Media Practice and gallery management. Academic credentials include an MFA in Fine Art Photography from Rochester Institute of Technology and a BFA in Fine Art with a minor in Medieval History from Alfred University.
