Kathy Connor

Kathy Connor has extensive experience in curatorial roles at George Eastman House, having served as Curator since November 1989 and previously as Curator of Education from 1982 to 1989. In the current position, Kathy is responsible for the care of the 50-room Colonial Revival mansion of George Eastman and manages a collection of archival, photographic, and decorative arts related to Eastman and the Eastman Kodak Company from 1880 to the 1940s. During the tenure as Curator of Education, Kathy developed a volunteer program, trained docents, created educational materials for schools and families, and established the first Discovery Room focused on interactive photography and motion picture activities. Kathy holds a Master of Arts in Curriculum & Teaching/Training & Development & Museum Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Education with a Teaching Certificate from St. John Fisher University.
