Vicki Piersall is the current Chief Financial Officer at George Fox University. Vicki has over 20 years of experience in business strategy and operations.
Piersall began their career as a Business Strategy and Operations Consultant with Sims Metal Management Limited. In this role, they were responsible for assessing and optimizing underperforming businesses. Vicki also negotiated and managed bankruptcy cases, identified acquisition targets, and evaluated idle businesses to determine their disposition.
In 2012, Piersall was promoted to Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development. In this role, they were responsible for setting and executing the company's strategic direction. Over the next three years, they successfully turnaround the North American recycling business, increasing earnings from $47 million to $68 million.
Piersall has also been successful in divestitures and liquidations, spearheading the divestiture of six underperforming companies. As a result, returns improved from (32%) to 4%. Vicki has also successfully developed turnaround plans for strategic underperforming businesses, improving market share in very difficult markets.
Piersall's extensive experience in business strategy and operations has made their an invaluable asset to George Fox University. Under their leadership, the university has seen significant financial growth and stability.
Vicki Piersall has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from Oregon State University in International Business and Marketing Management. Vicki also has a Master of Science - CS from the University of Oregon in Information Technology.
