Meredith Muckerman

Meredith Muckerman is an experienced professional in technology and communication, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Technology & Information Systems at George Mason University since January 2021. In this role, Muckerman developed a comprehensive communication and marketing strategy to enhance audience engagement and led the integration of technology within the Risk, Safety, & Resilience division for improved processes and emergency messaging. Previously, Muckerman held the position of Director at Reingold, Inc. and served multiple roles at George Mason University, including Communications and Technology Manager, where oversight of safety and risk management communications was a focus. Other experiences include roles at National 4-H Council, Burke & Herbert Bank & Trust, and as a Teaching Artist at Project Create DC. Muckerman holds a Master's degree in Health, Risk, and Crisis Communication from George Mason University and a BFA in Photography from Savannah College of Art and Design.
