Mike Kurec

Mike Kurec is an experienced professional in video production and photography, currently serving as Senior Director/Producer/Videographer at George Mason University since February 2018. Previously, Mike worked as a Video & Motion Graphics Producer at Infina, Ltd., where responsibilities included providing video production services to government clients, and Mike has extensive freelance experience in the film industry. Early career roles included Set Lighting Technician at The Washington Source for Lighting and various positions as a Production Assistant/Intern at MVI Post and Spark Media. Additionally, Mike has a background in photography, having worked as a Freelance Photographer for RISE Magazine and a Temporary Part-Time Photographer for Norwich Bulletin. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in Photojournalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and a Master of Fine Arts in Film & Digital Media from American University School of Communication.
