Shirley Hartman

Shirley Hartman, CFRE, MPA, currently serves as the Chief Development Officer at George Mason University since July 2018. With extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, Shirley is also the President of Hamilton Hartman Consulting, LLC, a position held since 2013. Prior roles include Chief Development Officer/Consultant at Spirit of America, Director of Major Gifts at The Salvation Army, and Vice President at StudentsFirst. Shirley has held significant positions at Clarkson University, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Russell Sage College, and the National Audubon Society. Academically, Shirley holds a Master of Public Administration from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Hartwick College.
