Amy J. Powers currently serves as the Regional Director of Donor Relations at the George W. Bush Presidential Center since May 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer at The Center for Integrative Counseling and Psychology from June 2015 to July 2022, and as an Educator and Instructional Team Leader at Highland Park ISD from 2009 to 2015. The George W. Bush Presidential Center is home to the Bush Presidential Library and Museum and the Bush Institute. The Bush Center's 226,000-square-foot building and 15-acre urban park reside on the campus of SMU in Dallas, Texas. President and Mrs. Bush founded the Bush Institute to continue their work expanding freedom at home and around the globe. Built with private donations, the Bush Presidential Library and Museum opened to the public on May 1, 2013.
