Mike Alverson has extensive experience in leadership and management roles within various organizations. Currently serving as an Education Docent at the George W. Bush Presidential Center since April 2013, Mike previously held the position of Executive Director at the North Texas Regional Extension Center - DFW Hospital Foundation from April 2010 to October 2012, where oversight of a significant federal grant helped 1,500 primary care doctors implement Electronic Health Records. Mike's background includes a tenure as Vice President and Deputy Chief Information Officer at Texas Health Resources from August 1990 to November 2009, as well as Vice President of Information Services at Lincoln Property Company from March 1985 to August 1990, where management of information systems and financial functions was key. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, an MBA with Distinction in Finance from American University’s Kogod School of Business, and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University.
