In 2008, they joined George Weston Limited and held various roles including Financial Analyst, Manager Consolidation, Financial Reporting, and Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis. Currently, they serve as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at George Weston Limited. Melanie den Boer, CPA, CMA, obtained their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting and Finance from Western University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Subsequently, from 2006 to 2010, they pursued the Certified Management Accounting Designation from the Society of Certified Management Accountants of Ontario.
