Jillian Egan, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience in psychological assessment and therapy. Currently serving as the Director of Testing Services and Director of Adult Services at Georgetown Psychology since September 2013, Jillian administers various diagnostic assessments and provides individual therapy using a Cognitive-Behavioral approach to address issues such as anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Prior experience includes a post-doctoral fellowship at New Directions for Young Adults, where Jillian offered individual and group therapy, as well as life skills training for young adults. Additional roles include a pre-doctoral psychology internship at Child Provider Specialists, focusing on assessments and therapy for children and families, and a research associate position at the University of Miami, where Jillian investigated factors contributing to obesity in preschool-aged children. Jillian earned a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The Catholic University of America.
