Melanie Reid

Melanie Reid is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in procurement and public relations. Currently serving as a Category Manager and Purchase/Procurement Agent at the Georgia Department of Community Health since July 2020, Melanie previously held the position of Contracts Administrator 3 at the Georgia Department of Human Resources from October 2014 to July 2020, where responsibilities included developing and monitoring transportation systems and contracts. Additionally, Melanie has a background in public relations as a Public Relations Coordinator at Kinsey Group PR, managing media campaigns and strategies for high-profile events, and served as an Administrative Coordinator at The Mathis Law Firm, providing executive support and maintaining client communications.
