Dr. Simbi M. Animashaun

Dr. Simbi M. Animashaun is an experienced educator and leader, currently serving as an MTSS Academic Intervention Specialist at Georgia Cyber Academy since September 2023, focusing on intervention supports for Tier 3 students. As the Chief Executive Officer of the United By Loss Foundation, Dr. Animashaun advocates for mothers and birth givers affected by perinatal loss and provides grief support and educational resources. Previous roles include Virtual Instructional Coach at EdConnective, Peer Support Group Facilitator for Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Georgia, and English Language Arts Teacher in various school districts. Dr. Animashaun holds a Doctor of Education degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from Walden University and has multiple educational qualifications, including a Specialist in Education and a Master in Education.
