Derek Watford

Derek Watford is the CEO and Principal Agent at Embark Insurance Group, having held this position since October 2014, and is an active member of IIAG, PIA, and YAC. Derek Watford also serves as a board member for the Georgia Department of Economic Development, focusing on workforce investment and youth initiatives to promote job training and employment opportunities within the community. Previously, Derek Watford has provided mentorship to at-risk youth at Bleckley County Middle School and participated as a committee member with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Currently, Derek Watford is pursuing a degree in Law and Public Policy at Mercer University and has completed studies in Pre-Law at Middle Georgia State University and in Economic Development.
