Elizabeth McLean is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management and public administration. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager for Industrial Projects at the Georgia Department of Economic Development since January 2020, Elizabeth has a proven track record in managing significant budgets and overseeing complex projects. Previously, as City Manager for the City of McRae-Helena from May 2015 to December 2019, Elizabeth prepared and managed a budget exceeding $5 million, administered the SPLOST program, and led various community initiatives. A background in media is also notable, with experience as an Editor for The Telfair Enterprise and as a Public Relations Assistant for the Unified Government of Athens-Clarke County. Elizabeth holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Valdosta State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Italian from The University of Georgia.
