Allison Timberlake serves as the Deputy Superintendent for Assessment & Accountability at the Georgia Department of Education, a position held since November 2011, overseeing the development and analysis of K-12 assessment systems. Timberlake previously directed the implementation of the College and Career Ready Performance Index and led the development of Georgia's student growth model as Program Manager. Earlier roles include Director of Educator Evaluation Systems at the Governor's Office of Student Achievement and Director of Assessment and Evaluation at the Southern Regional Education Board, where management of large-scale assessment programs and collaboration on test development were key responsibilities. Timberlake holds a Ph.D. in Educational Policy Studies from Georgia State University, alongside a Master's and Bachelor's in Public Policy from Georgia Institute of Technology.
