Dr. Lya Snell

Dr. Lya Snell is an accomplished education professional with extensive experience in mathematics and curriculum development. Currently serving as the Education Program Manager for Mathematics, Computer Science, and STEM/STEAM at the Georgia Department of Education since August 2015, Dr. Snell has previously held key positions including Coordinator of Mathematics for the Henry County Board of Education and Director of Curriculum for the Butts County Board of Education. Dr. Snell founded Math Innovation, LLC, which focuses on providing leadership, curriculum support, and professional development to educators nationwide. With a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Mercer University and multiple degrees in mathematics and administration, Dr. Snell is dedicated to enhancing educational outcomes for students.
