Laura Ergle

Laura Ergle currently serves as a College & Career Readiness Specialist at the Georgia Department of Education since July 2023. Prior to this role, Laura was the Career Technical Agriculture Education (CTAE) Director for Griffin Spalding County Schools from July 2015 to July 2023, overseeing the delivery and quality of CTAE programs across all school levels. Laura also held the position of Director at Griffin Region College and Career Academy from June 2016 to June 2022, where leadership and instructional improvement for staff were key responsibilities. Earlier experience includes serving as an Assistant Principal at Spalding County High School and as a CTAE Program Specialist at the Georgia Department of Education. Laura’s career began as a Career Technical Educator for Coweta and Fayette County Board of Education, with prior roles as an Executive Assistant at Triumph Motorcycles Limited and a Flight Attendant at Delta Air Lines. Laura holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from The University of Georgia and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Argosy University Atlanta.
