Rhonda R. Prunty

Rhonda R. Prunty is an experienced education professional currently serving as a Transformation Specialist at the Georgia Department of Education, focusing on Georgia Virtual School since July 2018. In addition, Rhonda owns Prunty Education Group, providing nationwide coaching for teachers and leadership with a specialization in Curriculum Design and School improvement. Previous roles include K-12 English Language Arts & Foreign Language Coordinator for the Dougherty County School System and Director of Curriculum & Instruction for Natchez Adams School District. Rhonda has also developed literacy-focused curricula at UC Berkeley and taught both undergraduate and graduate education courses at Troy University and Central Michigan University, respectively. Rhonda holds advanced degrees in Educational Leadership from the University of Sarasota and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Agnes Scott College.
