Elizabeth Lenhard

Elizabeth Lenhard came to GEEARS after a long career as a freelance writer. She’s been a journalist and restaurant critic (most notably for Chicago magazine and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution) and has written more than 50 books for children and young adults. She’s also been an author escort for children’s authors. Her through-line, in other words, is children. That’s what led her to GEEARS. As Content Manager, Elizabeth is the storyteller, showing them the families, activists, legislators, businesses, and board members that drive GEEARS’ mission.
