Farhana Yasmin has extensive experience in environmental engineering and compliance, primarily with the Georgia Environmental Protection Division since March 2005. As Data Quality Assurance Manager, Yasmin oversees the quality assurance of Georgia's Ambient Air Monitoring Network. Previously, Yasmin managed the Chemicals/Minerals Unit within the Air Protection Branch, ensuring compliance with air pollution regulations through inspections and report reviews. Earlier roles included Senior Environmental Engineer and Environmental Engineer positions, where Yasmin identified environmental solutions for regulatory compliance. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, along with certifications in Lean Six Sigma and Project Management from Georgia State University.
