Monica Kilpatrick Castro

Monica Kilpatrick Castro serves as the President of the Board of Directors for the Project WET Foundation: Water Education Today since December 2021. In addition, Monica has held the position of State Coordinator & Communications Specialist for the Georgia Environmental Protection Division since April 1999, focusing on the Georgia Project WET initiative. Previously, from 2013 to 2018, Monica was a Chair/Member of the Coordinators' Council for the Project WET Foundation, acting as a liaison between State Coordinators and the foundation while representing eight southeastern states and participating in various committees. Monica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Science with a focus on Environmental Studies from Michigan State University.
