Carie Summers

Carie Summers is an experienced financial executive with a career spanning over two decades in healthcare financing and policy coordination. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at the Georgia Hospital Association since November 2009, Carie has held multiple leadership roles within the organization, including Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Healthcare Financing, and Vice President of Financial Services. Prior to joining the Georgia Hospital Association, Carie was the Chief Financial Officer for the Georgia Department of Community Health from August 2003 to November 2009, and served as Policy Coordinator at the Georgia Governor's Office of Planning and Budget from August 1999 to August 2003. Carie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from the University of Florida, earned between 1988 and 1991.
