Iyonka Strawn-Valcy

Iyonka Strawn-Valcy serves as the Associate Vice Provost for International Operations and Director of Georgia Tech Europe at the Georgia Institute of Technology, while also holding the title of Vice President of GT Global Inc., a non-profit organization supporting global education and research activities. With a prior role as the Senior Director of International Programs at Kennesaw State University, Iyonka provided strategic leadership for international education, overseeing substantial study abroad initiatives and team development. Iyonka's extensive career includes positions in education administration and program coordination within higher education and early childhood sectors, complemented by a robust academic background in Latin American studies, psychology, and higher education administration, with an ongoing Doctor of Education program at the University of North Georgia.
