Lakshmi Raju

Lakshmi Raju is an accomplished academic and professional in Electrical and Computer Engineering, currently serving as the Director of ECE Student Engagement and Well-Being at Georgia Institute of Technology, a role held since August 2017. Responsibilities include managing the ECE Peer Advisor program and providing support to undergraduate students. Lakshmi has a multifaceted background that includes being a NSF Graduate Research Fellow in the Cai Lab, chairing the ECE Student Advisory Council Events/Outreach, and participating in the Air Force Research Lab Minority Leaders Program. Previous experience includes internships at Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, and student research roles at various institutions. Lakshmi holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, all from Georgia Institute of Technology.
