Maribeth Coleman

Maribeth Gandy is a highly accomplished professional in the field of computer science and human-computer interaction, with extensive experience in augmented and mixed reality applications. Currently serving as a Regent’s Researcher, Director of Research, Principal Research Scientist, and Director of the Interactive Media Technology Center at the Georgia Institute of Technology since September 2012, Gandy previously held the role of Senior Research Scientist at the same institution until May 2023. As Co-Founder of Aura Interactive LLC since October 2009, Gandy has been instrumental in designing interactive experiences across various domains, including games, educational tours, and advertising applications. Gandy holds a PhD in Computer Science, an MS in Computer Science, and a BS in Computer Engineering, all from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
