Raheem Beyah serves as the Dean and Southern Company Chair of the College of Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology since July 2011, where significant responsibilities include securing funding for research and leading teams in cybersecurity and computer networking innovations. In addition, Raheem Beyah holds the position of Vice President for Interdisciplinary Research, overseeing research strategy and operations of multiple interdisciplinary centers, and has contributed as the inaugural Executive Director of the Online Master's in Cybersecurity program. Previous roles include serving as Associate Chair for Strategic Initiatives and Innovation and Interim Steve W. Chaddick School Chair, managing academic and strategic partnerships. Raheem Beyah also chairs the board at Fortiphyd Logic, an industrial cybersecurity company, and has academic experience at Georgia State University and a consulting background. Raheem Beyah earned a PhD and MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a BS in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
