Timothy Whelan is a seasoned web developer and graphic designer with extensive experience in creating and maintaining digital platforms and marketing materials. Currently serving as the Lead Web Developer at the Georgia Institute of Technology since October 2022, Timothy has also held the position of Senior Web Developer at the Parker H. Petit Institute for Bioengineering and Bioscience since September 2015, where responsibilities include managing over 40 Drupal websites. Previous roles include Web Developer at Conisus, LLC, and Web Developer & Graphic Designer at Georgia Tech Distance Learning and Professional Education, contributing to various projects and branding initiatives. Timothy also operated Whelan Design, delivering corporate identity and branding solutions, and has a strong background in graphic design, having worked as Art Director for TAPPI and in earlier positions at the Savannah Chamber of Commerce. Timothy holds a BFA in Graphic Design & Computer Presentation from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
