Pete Donaldson has practiced law in South Georgia for over 45 years focusing on civil and criminal trial work. A long-time advocate for underserved populations, Pete was appointed by the Georgia Supreme Court as one of the early members and later the chair of the Georgia Indigent Defense Committee. He is a past president of the 1,800 member Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and remains active as a member of the Executive Board of that organization. He was the 2017 recipient of the “C. Terry Jackson, Friend of the Constitution.” award for courage and excellence in defense of difficult criminal cases.
