Gwin Copeland Hall has over 22 years of work experience, starting in 2000 as a Policy Analyst at the Georgia Senate Research Office. In 2002, Gwin joined the Georgia Municipal Association as an Associate General Counsel, responsible for legislative and regulatory counsel. From 2009 to 2014, Gwin served as an Associate RMEBS Legal Counsel at the Georgia Municipal Association before assuming the role of Senior Associate General Counsel. In this position, Gwin provided legal counsel on retirement plans, drafted plan documents, and conducted research on legal matters related to governmental retirement plans. Gwin also negotiated contracts and provided training to Georgia municipal elected officials. Additionally, Gwin provided staff support for GMA's Equity and Inclusion Commission. Gwin is a member of the National Association of Public Pension Attorneys.
Gwin Copeland Hall attended Auburn University from 1992 to 1996, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Gwin then went on to the University of Georgia School of Law from 1996 to 1999, where they obtained their Juris Doctor degree.
