Stacy Watson

Director, Economic & Industrial Development at Georgia Ports Authority

Stacy Watson has extensive work experience in economic and industrial development. Stacy started their career at Georgia Ports Authority in 1992 as an Operations Intern and worked their way up to becoming the Director of Economic & Industrial Development in April 2019. Prior to this, they held various roles at the company including General Manager and Economic Development Manager. Stacy also has a background in the military as they served as the Wing Inspector General at Georgia Air National Guard from June 1989 to March 2022.

Stacy Watson completed an AS in Business Administration from Middle Georgia College in 1989. Following that, they pursued a BBA in Marketing with an Emphasis in Logistics & Intermodal Transportation from the Parker College of Business-Georgia Southern University, graduating in 1992. Later, they obtained an MBA in Masters of Business Administration from Webster University in 2004.
