Carl Zornes

Carl Zornes has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Carl began their career as an Operations Manager at Wireless Warehouse in 2000 and then moved on to become the General Manager at Nextech Communications from 2002 to 2005. In 2008, they worked as a Photo Editor at Kennesaw State University and later joined Georgia Public Broadcasting, where they held various positions such as Intern, Media Encoder, iPhone/iPad App Developer, Interactive Developer-Designer, and Reporter/Producer. In 2013, they joined Phunware, Inc. as a Software Engineer. Carl returned to Georgia Public Broadcasting in 2015 and served as a Digital Media Development Manager before becoming the Director of Digital Media in 2018.

Carl Zornes attended Kennesaw State University from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication with a Media Studies Concentration. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2005, they attended the University of New Orleans, studying Business Management. In addition to their formal education, Carl Zornes also obtained a certification in "Become a Content Strategist" from LinkedIn in March 2019.
