Sherry Madigan White is a highly experienced professional who has worked in various roles and industries throughout their career. Sherry started their career as a Classified Advertising Salesperson at Atlanta Magazine in 1990, where they stayed until 1994. Sherry then joined dsc communications as a Customer Relations professional from 1994 to 1996. Sherry later returned to Atlanta Magazine in 1996, this time as an Associate Publisher for their custom publishing division, where they handled clients such as Georgia Public Broadcasting and BellSouth Select. In 2002, they brought Encore Atlanta, the program guide for The Fox Theatre and Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, into Atlanta Metropolitan Publishing, where they served as Project Director and Associate Publisher until 2004. From 2007 to 2013, Sherry took on the role of Publisher for Encore Atlanta, overseeing the sales, marketing, and growth of four performing arts publications. Sherry then joined Atlanta Magazine as an Account Director from 2013 to 2015. Sherry's most recent role was at UNICEF USA from 2015 to 2020, where they held the position of Deputy Director for the Southeast Region, working on major donor management, building philanthropic committees, and supporting special events. Sherry is currently serving as Director of Leadership Giving at Georgia Public Broadcasting, where they oversee major and planned giving programs, donor cultivation, and stewardship events.
Sherry Madigan White completed their high school education at Crestwood High School from 1980 to 1985. Sherry then pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Management from Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business, graduating in 1990.
