Ben G. Carter is an accomplished library professional with extensive experience in library management and development. Since May 2018, Ben G. Carter has served as the Assistant State Librarian for Library Development at the Georgia Public Library Service. Previously, Ben G. Carter held leadership positions, including Director at the Azalea Regional Library System and the Conyers-Rockdale Library System, where responsibilities encompassed executive leadership, strategic initiatives, and community partnerships. Roles at Gwinnett County Public Library and other organizations further demonstrate Ben G. Carter's commitment to enhancing library services and fostering community engagement. Ben G. Carter holds a Master of Science in Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The University of Georgia.
