Susan Morrison

Susan Morrison is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in library services, publishing, and content management. Currently serving as a PINES Operations Analyst and PINES Student Card Project Manager at Georgia Public Library Service since July 2020, Susan successfully planned and implemented the PINES Library Access for Youth (PLAY) card program, resulting in a significant increase in student library card access. Prior experience includes roles such as Associate Publisher at Publish Your Gift, where Susan oversaw editorial processes and managed project teams, and extensive freelance editing and proofreading for various clients. With educational credentials including a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fabric Design from The University of Georgia, a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of South Carolina, and a Certificate in Editing from the University of Chicago, Susan combines a strong foundation in the arts with a focus on library information systems.
