Scott Burke

AVP, Admissions and Housing at Georgia State University

Scott Burke has worked in admissions at the collegiate level for over two decades. Scott began their career as an assistant director at North Adams State College in 1995. Scott then took on the role of associate director at Northeastern University in 1997. Scott spent nine years in this role before moving to Clayton State University in 2006, where they served as director of admissions for two years. In 2008, they accepted a position as AVP of Admissions and Housing at Georgia State University, where they have worked for the past 12 years. Throughout their career, Scott has been committed to making the college admissions process more accessible and equitable for all students.

Scott Burke has a Bachelor of Science in Business from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University.

They are on a team with Catherine Neiner - Director, University Career Services, Carol Cohen - Assistant VP, Univ. Advisement Center, and Wanda Taylor - Division Administrative Officer. Scott Burke reports to Allison Calhoun-Brown, SVP, Student Success.
