Paul Turner

VP, Power Delivery at GEORGIA SYSTEM OPERATIONS CORPORATION

Paul Turner has a strong background in the power delivery and utilities industry. Paul started their career in 1991 at Carolina Power & Light, where they worked as an Operations Engineer. During this time, they gained valuable experience and developed their beliefs regarding system operations. In 1995, they moved on to EDS Utilities / New Energy Associates, where they worked as a Consultant until 1998. Here, they contributed their expertise to various projects and clients. In 1998, Turner joined Georgia System Operations Corporation as the VP of Power Delivery. In this role, they provided strategic direction and guidance to the Power Delivery Division, overseeing control centers, operations engineering, operations training, and BES compliance groups. Paul continues to lead and support GSOC in achieving success.

Paul Turner earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering from the University of South Carolina. Paul attended the university from 1987 to 1991, completing their undergraduate education within this time period.
