Ron Chandler

Ron Chandler has a diverse background in telecommunications, with expertise in network design, sales engineering, and network operations. Ron has worked in various roles and companies, starting from their time as a Field Tech at Netcom On Line in 1995. From there, they worked as a Telecommunications Network Engineer II at Epoch Internet, managing and implementing network projects. Ron then joined Sprint in 2001, where they initially served as a Network Operations Center Engineer, performing trouble isolation on the company's routers. Ron later transitioned to a Sales Engineer role at Sprint, providing support to existing and potential customers and developing network convergence designs. In 2014, Ron joined FiberLight, LLC as a Network Operations Engineer II, gaining in-depth knowledge of the company's backbone and troubleshooting customer issues. Afterward, they worked at Sprint as a Solutions Engineer II, creating converged network designs to drive customer solution sales. Most recently, Ron worked at the Georgia System Operations Corporation as a Telecom Technician/Analyst, responsible for monitoring and maintaining the company's wide area network and providing support to NOC Technicians. Currently, they are seeking new career and consulting opportunities.

Ron Chandler has attended South Mecklenburg but it is unclear when. Ron later went on to earn a Bachelor Degree in Computer Information Systems from Western Carolina University. In addition, they obtained a certification as a Cisco Meraki Network Associate in July 2018.
