Daniel Canter has a diverse work experience in the field of urology. Daniel is currently serving as the Director of the Advanced Prostate Cancer Clinic, Immunotherapy Program, and Clinical Research at Georgia Urology since November 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Ochsner Clinic from January 2016 to November 2019 as the Director of Urologic Oncology at the Benson Cancer Center. From September 2013 to October 2019, Daniel worked as a Medical Legal Expert Witness. Daniel also served as the Associate Chairman at the Urologic Institute of Southeastern Pennsylvania from May 2013 to December 2015. Earlier in their career, from August 2011 to May 2013, they worked as an Assistant Professor of Urology at Emory University School of Medicine.
Daniel Canter earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Film and TV Production from New York University in 1997. Daniel then pursued a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, graduating in 2004. In 2013, they obtained certification from the American Board of Urology. Currently, Daniel is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Tulane University - A.B. Freeman School of Business.
