Austin Simmons

Austin Simmons serves as the Digital Content Manager at the Georgia World Congress Center Authority since November 2022, previously holding the role of Marketing Communications Manager. Prior experience includes working as a Marketing and Communications Analyst at the Atlanta Regional Commission from August 2022 to November 2022, and as Multimedia Production Manager at Hope and Purpose Ministries from July 2017 to September 2022, where significant accomplishments include producing promotional video and photo content, conducting successful marketing campaigns, and fulfilling the role of communications manager. Earlier, Austin gained experience as a Sports Anchor/Reporter at WDAM, focusing on live sports broadcasts, and as an Associate Producer for The United Methodist Hour of Mississippi, assisting with production and telecast coordination. Austin holds a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from The University of Southern Mississippi, completed in May 2011.
