Dawn Jones

Dawn Jones is the current Director of Finance at Georgian Bay General Hospital. Dawn has over 10 years of experience in accounting and financial management. Dawn has a proven track record in leading and developing teams, as well as implementing process improvements that result in efficiencies and cost savings.

Prior to their current role, Dawn held various positions of increasing responsibility in the hospitality industry, including General Accountant and Credit Manager at Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, Duty Manager at Guest Services for Delta Hotels, and Assistant General Manager at Microtel Inn and Suites. In each of these roles, Dawn demonstrated their dedication to providing excellent customer service and their ability to manage complex operations.

Dawn’s education includes a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University. Dawn is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).

Dawn Jones has a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies from Western University in the field of Accounting and Finance. Dawn is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from the Certified Management Accountants Society of British Columbia. In addition, they are a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) from CPA Canada and the Chartered Professional Accountant of Ontario.

Dawn Jones reports to Matthew Lawson, EVP, Corporate Services & CFO.
