Irakli Vakhtangadze

Irakli Vakhtangadze serves as the Deputy Head of the Dispatch Center and Head of the Balancing Market Operational Service at the Georgian State Electrosystem since December 2021. With a career at the same organization starting in April 2013, Irakli has held various roles, including Lecturer, Head of Power System Analysis Service, Generation Expiration Plan Manager, Senior Dispatcher of Power Grid, and Dispatcher of Power System. In addition, Irakli is currently an Assistant Professor at Georgian Technical University. Irakli holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Georgian Technical University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in the same field.
