Russ Jones is currently an advisor at Georgian. Russ has held many positions in the financial industry throughout their career. Russ started out as a financial analyst at Turner Broadcasting in 1993. Russ then became a consultant for Zarvou Enterprises in 2011 and later for SP Carpet Pros in 2010. In 2013, they took on the role of financial consultant at Ken Stanton Music, where they performed duties such as creating the annual budget and overseeing the monthly close process. Russ then became a manager for change management at The Home Depot in 2018. In this role, they coordinated the product team's rollout and communication of new tools designed to increase merchant productivity. Russ also built a playbook to standardize usage of Agile development across the department, including the proper utilization of Jira for documenting user stories, pointing of stories, managing backlogs and determining objectives and key results. In December 1994, they became the director of operations and business development at The Home Depot, a position they held until January 2009.
