Christophe Gerard has over 20 years of work experience in the telecom and technology industry. Christophe started their career in 1996 as a Technical Sales Engineer at Plastifil SA. In 1999, they were a BSS Engineer Team Leader at Nokia and an Engineer Service at Telindus. From 2000-2003, they were a Regional Implementation and Indoor Project Manager at Orange Switzerland and a West Rollout Manager and Regional Network Expansion Manager at Sunrise. From 2008-2011, they were Head of Network Integration and Head of Network Rollout - Region West at Alcatel-Lucent. In this role, they managed the mobile network deployment and the network quality, was responsible for orders and sales in a Profit & Loss Structure, and managed all the rollout concerning the network planning, acquisition, construction, implementation work as well as the associated transmission. From 2017-2019, they were European Terrestrial Network Roll Out Manager at ViaSat Inc., where they developed and led a team made up of full-time employees and contractors, managed capital cash-flow forecast, tracked actual vs. forecast, developed program for continuous improvement of accuracy, maintained scorecard/metrics by which to measure progress, health, and success, identified options for the rollout and developed related negotiation and sourcing strategies, and deployed the European Satellite Ground system. Since 2019, they have been the Key Accounts Director, Head Of Account Management, and Account Manager at GEOSATIS.

Christophe Gerard has a comprehensive educational background. Christophe began their studies in 1986 at the Professional School of Valreas in France, where they earned a BEP/CAP in Electrotechnics with an option in Electromechanics. Two years later, they graduated from the Technical School of Aix-en-Provence with a High School Diploma F3 in Technical Diploma in Electrotechnics, option Automatics. From 1990 to 1995, they attended the Engineering School of Geneva in Switzerland, where they earned an ETS/HES in Electrical Engineering. Since 2002, they have participated in various Internal Talent Development programs.
