Steph Hawkins

Steph Hawkins has a diverse range of work experience. They began their career in 2011 as a Technical Assistant at the Wagga Wagga Agricultural Institute and worked there until 2013. In 2015, they held multiple roles including Sales Assistant at the University Co-Operative Bookshop, Vacation Student at CSIRO, and Touch Football Coach at RAVENSWOOD SCHOOL FOR GIRLS. From 2016 to 2018, Steph worked as a Team Member at Officeworks. In 2019, they joined the Geological Survey of New South Wales as a Graduate Geoscientist and stayed until 2021. At Geoscience Australia, Steph has held several positions including Geoscience Data Manager from 2021 to 2022, Geoscience Data Analyst from 2022 to 2023, and currently serve as the Senior Data Analyst and Team Lead starting from 2023.

Steph Hawkins has a Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Geophysics, and Ancient History from Macquarie University, which was obtained from 2013 to 2016. After that, in 2016, they attended the National Exploration Undercover School (NExUS) to study Mineral Exploration for a short period of time. In 2017, Steph continued their education at Macquarie University, pursuing a Master of Research in Earth and Planetary Sciences, which they completed in 2018.
