Solveig Gunnarsdottir, MBA has a wealth of experience in the finance industry. Solveig began their career in 2012 as a student at the Hult International Business School, where they earned their MBA with an emphasis on Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Behavioral Finance, Corporate Finance and Financial Management. After graduating, they worked at MP Bank as an Aggregate Risk Associate, where they prepared weekly and monthly financial analysis for executives and the Board of Directors. In 2014, they moved to Orkuveita Reykjavíkur as a Treasury Manager and Investors Relations, where they managed rating agency relations and improved the credit rating by two notches for Moody's and one notch for Fitch Rating. In 2017, they began working at Landsbref hf. as an Alternative Investments, and also took on roles as an Alternate Board Member at Ölgerðin Egill Skallagrimsson and a Board Member at Keahotel ehf. Solveig Gunnarsdottir, MBA has a diverse educational background. Solveig obtained a Matricular from The Commercial College of Iceland in Mathematics from 2002 to 2006. Solveig then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Industrial Engineering from Háskóli Íslands from 2006 to 2010, followed by a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University in 2009. Lastly, they earned an MBA from Hult International Business School from 2012 to 2013. Additionally, they have obtained a Ábyrgð og árangur stjórnarmanna certification from Opni háskólinn í HR in December 2019 and is a Certified Securities Broker from the Ministry of Industry and Innovation - Iceland.
