Kyle Fredericks

Kyle Fredericks, MS, MBA, is the President and Operations Geologist at Geosphere LLC, an independent operations geology services provider since August 2019. With extensive experience in geosteering, Kyle has drilled over 100 wells across multiple major North American basins, including Eagle Ford, Haynesville, Bakken, and Permian. Prior to founding Geosphere, Kyle held various roles at Reservoir Group, where responsibilities included geosteering 80 horizontal wells for 15 operators and leading a team in drilling 160 wells. Earlier career experience includes positions at ConocoPhillips, where strategic planning for deep water exploratory wells was performed, and academic roles at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, recognized for outstanding contributions to teaching and research. Kyle holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Geology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology from the same institution.
